The Chamber’s ability to reach a dedicated audience of business men and women who are committed to supporting businesses in Lawrence and Douglas County far exceeds other publications in Lawrence. Our weekly eNewsletter “Chamber Matters” is distributed to more than 1,400 emails and enjoys an open rate higher than the industry standard. With extension of newsletter content on our Web site and social channels, your business has the opportunity to gain additional exposure.
The Chamber’s new Web site has numerous opportunities for prime advertising space for your business. From global placement, to enhanced placement on high-traffic pages, the Web site provides a premium opportunity for your business to gain greater exposure.
Direct marketing puts your information straight into the inboxes and mailboxes of our more than 1,400 members. Our email blast program reaches about 1,400 people per blast. The average open rate (number of people who open the email) is over 30 percent, which is above the industry average. The click-through rate (number of times people click on a link in the email taking them to your coupon, donation page, event registration or your main website) is between 3 and 4 percent, which is also above the industry average. Research shows traditional direct mailing via post is having a resurgence, and renting the Chamber mailing list (available as printed labels or as an Excel sheet) gives you access to the mailboxes of 1,400 active members of the local business community.
Over the course of the next several months, the Chamber will begin to roll out enhanced features through its new Web site and members database that will provide even greater abilities to gain additional exposure for your business through a cost-effective manner. And with built in analytics, as a member you will be able to see the results from your campaigns immediately.
The Chamber will increase visibility of its member businesses through networking events, business referral and marketing opportunities.
